Tar is compressed and concentrated gloops of stickiness from long, long ago accumulated into a thick slurry. Tar can ooze, crawl, seep, or on rare occasions explode from deep below. When it does explode, Tar Dragons are immediately seen frolicking in the mess. Dragons like heavy things they can hoard that are eternal or difficult to get rid of like gold, tar, lead, or nuclear waste.
