Birth of Necessary Deception
By Queen of the Shadowpuffs, Disasterina

Overly smart brains seek to escape their host and go on their own if given the opportunity. Sometimes the emergence of necessary deception via new life is the catalyst for a breakout. All in the Realm should know that anything and everything can be birthed from an egg and it’s a risk to be near one when it erupts. But some who are convinced they are smart take the chance as visions of advancement colour their logic. When a Sneaky snake comes forth shattering through the shell it can be disastrous for those nearby and especially those holding or laying on the egg. Snakes are pre programmed to confuse and always have a sly smile on their faces even at birth, and this smile can cause a unique calamity, a psychic rift in the ether which enlarges the brain cells, swelling it so large it exits its containment. While the new snake excitedly slithers through the ether the now brainless vacated host wanders the realm, subtly drawn toward vast emptinesses where they will eventually lie down and become stone, a desolate micro monument to impure ambition.
